Online Individual Art Therapy Sessions

Art therapy is a gentle, creative way to explore your feelings and support your well-being. Through making art, you can connect with your inner self, express what’s hard to put into words, and discover new paths toward wellbeing. It helps reduce stress, improve self-awareness, and foster personal growth — all in a supportive, caring space.

In our individual online art therapy sessions, you’ll have a safe place to explore your emotions and challenges at your own pace. No prior art experience is needed — this is about your unique journey, not artistic skill.

Home Within: Online Art Therapy Group for Expats Living in Spain

Do you feel like a different person in your host country than you were back home? Are you exhausted by the mental load of navigating a different language and culture? Do you feel “stuck” between two worlds, not quite belonging to either? Are you struggling to explain your experience to friends and family back home who “just don’t get it”?

Moving abroad is a bold change, but it often comes with a side of quiet struggle. This art therapy group is designed to create a supportive, safe, and nurturing space for expats navigating the complexities of life in Spain. Together, we’ll use the creative process to address the unique challenges of adaptation, the weight of loneliness, and the shifting sense of identity that comes with “starting over.”

Art therapy allows you to express feelings that are hard to verbalize—like the ‘hazy’ feeling of culture shock or the ‘fragmented’ feeling of a changing identity. You don’t need to be an artist; the goal is expression, not perfection.

What to expect:

  • A brief check-in: To settle into the space and connect with the group.
  • Guided art therapy proposals: To address difficulties, adapted specifically to the group’s needs.
  • Expression through art: Using metaphors, symbols, shapes, colors, and movements that represent your experience.
  • Sharing our process: A time for sharing and resonating with others’ experiences in a non-judgmental environment.
  • Insight and transformation: Moving beyond just talking, the act of making and seeing our own reflection on the paper helps bring the unconscious into the conscious to gain new insights.

Practical Details:

  • When: Once a week on Mondays
  • Time: 19:00 (Spain Time / CET)
  • Format: Online via Zoom
  • Duration: 5-week cycle
  • Cost: 20€ per session (10€ discount if paid in full in advance)
  • Limited Spots: Space is kept limited to ensure an intimate and supportive environment.

Creative Workshops for Coworking Spaces

This program is designed with the well-being of coworking professionals in mind —
freelancers, remote workers, creatives, and entrepreneurs who may be navigating
stress, burnout, imposter syndrome, or emotional fatigue.

Through guided creative sessions, this program uses visual art as a non-verbal
medium to explore emotional needs in a safe and accessible way. Each session acts as
a gentle creative pause, offering both self-care and opportunities for community
connection within the shared workspace.

It’s important to highlight that this is not an art class. No techniques are taught, and no
artistic experience is required. Instead, art is used as a tool for reflection, expression,
and emotional well-being — always adapted to the specific needs of the community.

Applying methods, techniques, and tools derived from art therapy.

  • No artistic skills required — just openness to explore and create.
  • Focus is on the creative process, not the final result.

  • Optional group sharing in a calm, respectful environment.

  • Sessions can be held in English or Spanish, depending on the group’s preference.
